An impressive journey through the construction, maiden voyage, and the tragic night of 1912. A special highlight is the Grand Staircase, recreated in full scale – unique in Germany – an emotional centerpiece of the exhibition. Historical content meets modern experience design, complemented by the Immersive Gallery, a fascinating visual experience including footage from a real dive to the wreck.
The exhibition is one of a kind in Germany: it presents original artifacts recovered directly from the Titanic wreck, features a life-size reconstruction of the Grand Staircase – whose first steps visitors can even walk on – and includes the Immersive Gallery, an emotional 360° experience already included in the ticket price.
A 360° projection room using state-of-the-art technology. You will find yourself “inside the Titanic,” experience its interior, and explore the wreck through a real ROV dive. Light, sound, and imagery merge into an intense 10-minute experience.
Plan about 60 to 90 minutes for your visit. The projection in the Immersive Gallery lasts about 10 minutes – one of the most moving parts of the exhibition.
The Titanic Exhibition is located in the Metropolis Hall Potsdam, right next to Filmpark Babelsberg (Großbeerenstraße 200, 14482 Potsdam). You can reach us easily:
• By train: S-Bahn line S7 to Babelsberg or Griebnitzsee, then bus 601 or 690 to Filmpark Babelsberg.
• By car: A parking garage is located directly across from the Metropolis Hall. Access via Lotte-Loebinger-Straße 2, 14482 Potsdam
• On foot: About a 15-minute walk from Griebnitzsee S-Bahn station.
Both! Online tickets through our website help you avoid waiting times (recommended). A ticket counter is also available in the foyer of the exhibition inside the Metropolis Hall.
